Ok i am going to the beach this Saturday, and i have this bathing suit that i have to wear board shorts with. Where can i find board shorts now on the middle of august? The board shorts I want to buy are on sale for mix and match, which means that I can buy the board shorts and matching bikini top for 30$. But I always thought that aditional swimwear should be worn under. Am I wrong?

I want to buy some board shorts (for the beach and pool; I dont surf) but they are very expensive and there isn't much variety. What is something else I can wear that has a good price and will be okay if gotten wet. Any ideas?

i bought a pair of oneil board shorts from pac sun, and im wondering if i put detergent in the washing machine. or is detergent gonna mess up the shorts?
